The erstwhile EREB Secretariat was preparing Regional Energy Account, Unschedule Interchange (UI) Account and Reactive Energy Account since inception of ABT in Eastern Region (01.04.2003). However, IEGC effective from 01.04.06 had entrusted this work to RLDCs. Accordingly, ERLDC is preparing the above bills w.e.f. April'2006. Subsequently, Hon'ble CERC vide its Notification No. 1/68(84)/2006-CERC dated 22nd August 2006 has amended the clause 6.4.15 of Chapter 6, paras 5, 6 and 11 of Annexure I of Chapter 6 of the IEGC. As per amendment, RPC Secretariats shall prepare the Region Energy Account w.e.f. 01.09.06 and weekly UI charge and Reactive Energy charge w.e.f. the week ending on 3rd September 2006.Accordingly, Regional Energy Account, UI charge and Reactive Energy Account for Eastern Region will be prepared by ERPC Secretariat from the dates mentioned above. However, above accounts during the intervening periods are prepared by ERLDC and are available in ERLDC website. Besides, present IEGC has entrusted ERPC Secretariat to compute the following:-

•  Availability of Regional AC and HVDC transmission system
• Availability and Plant Load Factor for ISGS (Thermal)
• Capacity Index for ISGS (Hydro)
